Angelo Veschetti

Owner, Adviser (Authorised Representative 434774), Responsible Manager

I was born on the Tablelands and, after a 15-year career as an Army logistics officer, began advising clients in 2005 in a small firm (Donnelly Money Management) in Melbourne. I did my apprenticeship in the big city during the GFC and moved back to the region with young kids in 2009. I was a stay-at-home-dad for a few years and juggled this with working part time as an adviser and being an Army Reserve officer with 51 FNQR.

I have a Masters in Financial Planning and am a Certified Financial Planner member of the FPA. I love dispelling the many retirement and wealth hyper myths for clients and then coaching them through life.

I live in Yungaburra with my wife, Tiffany, and my two kids. Tiffany and I are active in our community like many other regional professionals.

Nadia Coffey

Financial Adviser (Authorised Representative 1269211)

I was born and raised on the Tablelands and now live in Mareeba where I married my husband in 2022, and we started our family in 2023.

I was previously licensed as an adviser in late 2018, however I took a few steps back when I joined the VCFA team in 2020 to learn the ins and outs of the business by starting at the front desk working in administration. I became licenced again in 2021 and have enjoyed getting back to my passion of advising.

I have a Master of Financial Planning, am a Commissioner for Declarations and am happy to help the community in this capacity when needed.

I am a lover of animals and enjoy the outdoors, camping and spending time with my family and friends.

Alisha Carroll

Paraplanner (completing Adviser professional year in Dec25)

I grew up in Brisbane and my family moved to the Tablelands when I was 13 and I have stayed here ever since. I am passionate about travelling and have been to many places across Australia and overseas, with many more trips planned in the future. I joined VCFA in 2018 as an admin assistant and bought with me exceptional customer service and admin experience having worked at Big W in Atherton for 11 years.

I have since transitioned into my current role as Paraplanner after gaining the work experience on the job, and the qualifications through my Diploma and Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.

I am currently studying a Master of Financial Planning and completing my professional year and am excited to be taking the next step to adviser in the next 12 months. I am also a Justice of the Peace (Qual) and happy to help people in this regard as needed.

Libby Masasso

Client Services Officer

I grew up in a small town in South East Queensland, studied Business at USQ in Toowoomba, and started my career working for state government in Brisbane. I moved to the Tablelands in 2006, opting for a quieter change in life. After having two children, I continued my working career part-time with Far North Office Choice, specialising in Marketing and Purchasing, helping FNOC build and develop the Back-to-School side of the business.

I then plunged head first into the finance industry after joining the VCFA team in 2021 and have enjoyed every moment since. I bring with me a wealth of administrative and managerial experience and I enjoy getting to know clients and being able to help them out in anyway that I can. Having aging parents, I can understand the financial complexities facing our aging population and the difficulties they face with current technologies.

I am a Commissioner for Declarations and am happy to assist people in this regard as needed.

Paige Schofield

Client Service Officer

I was born in Clermont, Central Queensland and moved to the Tablelands several years ago. I joined the VCFA team in 2022 at the front desk. I previously worked at the Tolga Newsagents. I am very community orientated being involved in many community groups, incl Atherton Show and Cairns Showgirl (finished with my role late 2021 after competing in the Queensland Country Life Showgirl State Finals).

When I’m not at work or studying I enjoy spending time with my family and little sausage dog Pablo. I love meeting our clients when they walk in and am learning lots about how real financial planning actually works to help people in our community.

Kerrielee Mather

Administration Manager

I grew up on the Atherton Tablelands.  I joined the firm in 2006 and have a varied role ranging from preparing client portfolio reviews to bookkeeping and supporting other staff members.

While I don’t spend much time in front of clients, I know my contribution is valued given the fact we have so many long-term clients.

My husband, Kerry, and I, also own and operated Kerry Mather Plumbing for many years, and many of the skills I’ve learned running our business have certainly translated into extra help for the firm’s clients over the years.

Kerry and I have two grown daughters, both out of the nest. I have also been actively involved in the community, volunteering with Atherton Girl Guides since 1995. My free time is usually spent camping, gardening and I always have many projects that I’m working on in my sewing room.
